What is AREA?

AREA (Augmented Requirement Engineering Agent) is an AI-assisted platform for automotive requirement engineering along the V-model. It takes your source documents and helps engineering teams derive, structure, and trace requirements across every level — from user requirements down to software design and test specifications — in line with Automotive SPICE and functional-safety practice.

At its core, AREA is a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) system: every generation step is grounded in your own project context and a searchable knowledge base of prior requirements, so outputs stay relevant, consistent, and traceable — not generic AI text.
